Zeroing In On Volunteering

There is more to just refusing, reducing, reusing, rotting, and recycling. You can also help try and make an impact in your own local community by volunteering. Volunteering is one of those major environmental impacts that everyone seems to overlook when it comes to making our planet a better place. The reason being that in this "busy" world were people work themselves to the bone during the week. The last thing they want to do is more "work" on the weekends. However, getting involved can actually increase your self confidence, make you feel better, and help others who are less fortunate than you. I have volunteered all my life and I don't regret any of the hours that I have put in to helping teach kids about our environment, prepping pets for adoption, and giving away books to kids who may not have access to them.
